Close Protection Teams.

The make-up of a Close Protection Team;

Please note that the following is a basic requirement guide to the team structure and is by NO MEANS a full and comprehensive description.
In addition to the basic skills contained below, our Officers have other Specialist Skills.

 

Team Leader
Who is overall in charge of the running of the job, he is the point of contact between all members of the team.
Team organizing and co-ordination between all parties involved, making the necessary recce's and forward planning.
Arranges the smooth running of Client daily itinerary and travel arrangements between visiting countries / locations and bookings.
Oversees the Residential, Advance, Escort and Driver Team Members.
Other than Close Personal Protection he is experienced and trained in CCTV, Bomb Awareness and Surveillance.

Bodyguard
Who Personally guards and protects an individual; solely concerned with the safety and welfare of the client(this can also include the clients family). This is regardless of what may occur around him, or where he is, he thinks of the client first and foremost, eliminating as much risk to the client as possible.
Other than Close Personal Protection he is experienced and trained in CCTV, Bomb Awareness and Surveillance.

Personal Escort Section
These Team Members provide the all round protection. Physically escorting of the Client and 'Bodyguard'(if required). Usually 'Medium' and 'High' risk requirement.
The Escort Section can be 'High' or 'Low' profile, depending on the nature of the job.
Other than Close Personal Protection they are experienced and trained in CCTV, Bomb Awareness and Surveillance.

Security Advance Party
Responsible for the securing of venue, residence or place of visit prior to Client's arrival.
Carrying out a route recce' of expected journey to location and commencing with a final full threat assessment of the location and staff including a bomb/weapon search, sweep of surrounding areas for any possible last minute blind spots.
Liaisons with senior staff and security.
Other than Close Personal Protection they are experienced and trained in CCTV, Bomb Awareness and Surveillance.

Residential Security Team
Providing physical patrols and/or control room operator of the permanent or temporary residence(hotel suite/floor).
The security of a temporarily vacated property, when client/s is on holiday, away on business or out for the day.
Responsible for the Safety of the Client within his place of residence, carrying out all checks within the boundaries, all mail, deliveries and people visiting are cleared prior to contact with the Client.
Other than Close Personal Protection they are experienced and trained in CCTV, Bomb Awareness and Surveillance.

Protection Driver
Driver of the Client from venue to venue, planning relative safe routes.
Familiar with and experienced with specialist driving techniques, thus ensuring safe passage of journey.
The Client will know that in the event of a possible ambush, his/her driver may be the one that could save them.
Any vehicles concerned within the operation, will be given a full and comprehensive search both internally and externally prior to use.
Other than Close Personal Protection they are experienced and trained in; Bomb Awareness, Surveillance and gained Specialist Driving qualifications.

Our Close Protection Officers are familliar with all the above and can operate in any of the positions if required.
